BOOKING POLICIES

1. Appointments

If you are a new client wishing to book in with us, please send us a picture of both hands (showing the bare nails) to info@thehotblend.com so that we can assess the natural nail condition prior to booking. Please note we DO NOT remove work that we did not carry out. Please note that if you attend your appointment and there is an infection present (Onycholysis, Green Nails etc.) we won’t be able to carry out the service and the full treatment cost will be applicable.

To secure an appointment, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required. Booking fees will be non-refundable under any circumstances so please ensure that when you are booking your appointment you will be able to attend.

If you fail to receive a booking confirmation from us after paying, please contact us within 24 hours of the payment being made in order for us to check that the payment has been successful. Contacting us to check for successful payment where a booking confirmation was not received and within less than 1 week of your appointment will lead to section ‘3. Cancellation Policy’ being applied.

Please ensure that you are aware of the pricing and categories of the services you are booking or please message us through Instagram @thehotblend or email to info@thehotblend.com if you are unsure prior to booking. Your appointment will be confirmed via email or directly with you.

Booking your chosen service and paying the 50% deposit will secure your time slot. If you do not wish to have the chosen service on the day, we will be able to accommodate a shorter service, however, the remaining 50% of the original service cost will still apply as this time could have been used to accommodate other clients.

Please note that the remaining balance must be paid after the service is completed and before leaving the salon.

Our work is guaranteed for 7 days. If you have any issues with the quality of work, please contact us to give us the opportunity to fix it for you.

2. Moving Appointments

The movement of any appointment requires at least 1 weeks notice prior to the time and date of the appointment. Appointments will not be moved with less that 1 weeks notice and the cancellation policy will apply if you are unable to attend your booked appointment.

3. Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your appointment with more than 1 weeks notice you will be charged 50% of the full treatment price (the 50% booking fee will be kept) as noted above in section ‘1. Appointments‘ . If you wish to cancel your appointment with less than 1 weeks notice you will be charged the full treatment price. No further appointment will be carried out in the salon until the outstanding balance is fully paid.

We understand that sometimes things come up and where possible we will be as understanding as we can, however this is a small business and this means loss of earnings for us and for our business and this also means that others will miss out on an appointment.

4. No-Show Policy

If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment and fail to contact us beforehand to make us aware, this will be classified as a ‘no-show’. We will always try to accomodate you, however, please be understanding that we work with back-to-back appointments and we may have to cancel your appointment if we can’t complete the work to our high standards.

5. No Children Policy

Due to health and safety regulations please consider making other arrangements for your children when you come for your treatment. A salon is not the safest place for a child, since hot tools, very sharp objects and chemicals are in regular use. I am unable to carry out your treatment if you also need to keep an eye on child safety. Therefore if on arrival for your treatment you have children with you, your treatment will need to be cancelled and full cancellation charges will be applicable. Thank you for your support and understanding in this matter.
